Disqualification for the government job will take place only if you have a criminal record, but in this case which you are telling can't be called a criminal record. Because the compromise had taken place in initial stage of police investigation. You'll not be ineligible for government jobs due to police verification.

Depends on the gravity and the nature of fight. From your query, I understand that no FIR has been registered and the complaint has been compromised at the initial stage and therefore it was not a major fight. This would not be a ground to disqualify you from a Government job as per a Division bench judgment of Delhi High Court. However if you apply for a government job, please do not make a false disclosure in the information column if they ask for such information. Rest you are fairly secured by a very progressive judgment of our High Court.

respected, first you tell me where was compromise done i.e in court or police station and FIR was lodged or not. because in your question you asked me police has taken your signature . sometime police only taken signature only for formal reqirement. without any court case you are not ineligible for govt jobs and case must be prove . so tell me fir was lodged or not . you can see that in traffic police taken a sign in challan form but this type of sign not prove you are ineligble for govt jobs
