What are the condition to get bail?

My uncle was sent to jail in atrocity case on 3rd August, 2016. We are struggling for bail. Please suggest how to get bail. I have few doubts. 1) Is charge sheet mandatory? 2) Is it compulsory waiting for 2 weeks to file petition in the court?
No you can file for bail before the chargesheet is filed. You should have filed it by now. And no there is no waiting period for filing the bail application. On the basis of FIR itself you could have started the bail application. Is he in judicial custody or Police Custody the chances increases of bail of the person is in Judicial custody.

Charge sheet is not necessary to obtain bail.
