What action can I take to recover my missing laptop lost in train

While returning from office through local train, I missed to take my lap top bag and immediately I went to Tambaram station to give complaint to RPF and RPF informed that the bag is not available in the mentioned train and in the mentioned first class coach after search. As someone has stolen the same before RPF went in search, can i give compliant on my missing lap top as it is official lap top and the information should not be misused from my lap top.
Since it is an Official Laptop, you have to give a written complaint with the Railway Police as well as the Local Police Station. If the Police find it, they will have to give the Laptop to you. Also it is better that you give a complaint so that the contents of the Laptop should not be misused and you will be blamed for it. For further guidance you can contact me.

You file complaint of lost of laptop before concerned railway police and stressed them to register FIR under section 379 of Indian penal code and if they failed to register so make application for direction under section 154 of crpc before concerned judicial magistrate
