Threatened by a shopkeeper about beating and foul language used

I subconsciously looked into a glass window of a shop near ICAI to adjust my hair. Even the shopkeeper had full hair and he was not bald. But the shopkeeper started to use filthy foul language against me and he also threatened to slap me in public. I apologised. I have eye witnesses as strong evidence. I am feeling low and I want to know what I should do against the shopkeeper.
