Theft in house, items recovered, court has summoned, need I go?

03-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
There was theft in my house in Bangalore 6 years back. The items were recovered, however the police has called me to tell court has summoned me now. I stay in Hyderabad now. Please let me know if I have to appear in person now. Also the witnesses when I filed FIR are not reachable. I have send emails to them but didn't receive any response. Please advise me on how to handle this situation.

you can file a petition under section 457 of crpc for return of property and you need to give witness in court for geting conviction against the accused in the case. so please contact the concerned court officials for appropriate measures or approach an advocate for getting return of the property

Yes you must attend and file a petition for claim you property in that court without your presence you can't claim no need of witness to claim your theft property so attend the court And enquiry about your case stage to claim
