Signature forgery by bank agent. Bank not helping much. What to do?

15-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)

Hi, I am from Bangalore, recently taken home loan from axis bank, but the bank agent created forgery signature on insurance attached to home loan for Rs52,000/- and deducted this amount from loan dispersal amount without my knowledge. I also suspect any misuse of my property document submitted to bank from this guy in future, inspite of several visit to branches, i did not get this insurance money back.

Issue a legal notice to Axis Bank and the bank agent who has done this forgery asking them to refund the sum of Rs.52,000/- if they fail to refund the amount, file a consumer complaint against both the bank and its agent, both the principal and agent are liable for this amount.
If they do not respond to the legal notice hire a good consumer lawyer and file the complaint, you will not only get back the amount of Rs.52,000/- plus all other incidental costs spent by you towards recovery of that amount.
