How to lodge a complaint in police station ?
If it is a complaint relating to an offence which is non-cognizable, you only need to go to the police station and tell the officers that you want to register an NC.
If the offence is cognizable, I would advice you to draft a complaint through an advocate and submit it in police station. Thereafter it gets assigned to an investigating officer and preliminary enquirers are conducted.
