Person attacked me what action should I take now?

Last week sunday, one guy attacked me near my house. Please tell me the procedure and what i can do?

Any motive exists? you can lodge a complaint in the nearby police station by narrating the entire incident immediately. even an hour of delay in lodging a complaint will have to answered to the due satisfaction of Police Officials.
