On orders of company house vandalised by goons can i ask compensation

Hi Sir/Ma'am, I have rented out a bed under the property hosting website called Nestaway. I had received an intimation notice on the 1st of September 2016 stating that I need to vacate the house within 45 days, to which I agreed. But on the 16th of September, when I returned home after a surgery in three days, I found two men in the house at around 7:30 vandalizing and dismantling the furniture provided by the company to me stating that they received an "off boarding" order from the company when I confronted them. They told me that they are not to be held responsible as they were sent by the company. I immediately called the police as my personal belongings were either moved or missing. Police team visited and asked me to lodge a complaint the next day in HSR Layout. I went to the police station and formally lodged a complaint. The company lawyer came and told me that we can sort the issue without filing a complaint, to which I denied. Can I claim monetary compensation to this?
This is a criminal offence. What you have done is right. Police would initiate appropriate criminal action against the culprits. The offenders would be punished under the Indian Penal Code. If you have undergone loss, you may pray the court for compensation from out of the fine that may be levied on the offenders. It would take its own sweet time say many years. However, if the company offers a compromise formula wherein you would be compensated adequately, you may consider the same.
