26-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Ground floor inhabitants ashokan and sunitha and wife have given me mental harrassement...death threat..terror attacks. What should I do? Please assist.
Dear Querist,
You can go and lodge a complaint in the local police station once you are sure that your neighbours intend to cause you bodily harm. I would, however, suggest that you really think this through and take neccesary action once you see imminent threat to your life.

Filet a criminal complaint in police station and if no action taken by official then file a complaint in respect of grevience to the higher officials n if again no action taken file to 156 (3) in court....bt for all these u need a legal advice so as to draft the complaint accdgly..
Please file a police complaint therein narrating all the experiences you had with the above mentioned accused persons. You need to specify the SHO of concerned police staion about the reliefs you need so that the police can work in accordance with your complaint.
My dear friend !
You should lodge a criminal complaint with the local police giving full account of the case and request for your safety and appropriate legal action against them. If the local police does not take any action, then you may lodge another complaint with the area DCP/Suptd. of Police and even after lodging complaint with the DCP/Suptd. of police no action is taken then you may file a complaint under section 156(3) Cr.P.C., seeking directions from the court to direct the police to register a criminal case against the accused and take appropriate remedial/preventive action.
