My Cashier did fraud, have his confession on video. what can i do?

Hi,
I kept a cashier in my restaurant he did fraud and siphoned off money. He used to void few items from customers bill which wont show up in Sales for the day and pocket the money, taking few hundreds to few thousands depending upon business per day. I caught him one day, when i checked VOID bills, items were made and served to customer but it wasn't showing in sales. I got his confession on video for that day; he admitted he used to do it. Now he ran away today, i have his home address, how can i recover my money from him. Please help.
You can lodge a police complaint for theft, if he has committed any, causing loss by cheating, criminal breach of trust under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code. The police would register the fir and pursue the case in magistrate's court. Being afraid of punishment your cashier may come for compromise by paying your amount.

The cashier was under your employment during the course of employment he has committed fraud and misappropriated your funds for which you have his confession on video, take this to the local police station and lodge a criminal complaint U/s 420 of IPC and other provisions of the IPC against the cashier. In your case you have the home address of the cashier, provide a photograph of the cashier also so the Investigating officer can easily arrest the person once the F.I.R is registered against him.
