Made payment to a person who promised to give job now absconding

1MONTHAGO i got a message from indeed which was regarding job interview in GMR and the message also said me to contact a no.i contacted that no.he said that he will adjust an telephonic interview as the interview was in delhi.As i am fresher after some days i had an interview and got selected i got the joining letter.tHEN they asked to deposited 25k for joining.I know it was my foolishness to do so.but now all there numbers are switched off.i went to police station for lodging an FIR BUT they took the complain but when i asked them to file FIR then the police said that the FIR can'tbe filed.
You can file miscellenios application before JMFC in respective jurisdiction u/'s 156. Meet advocate they will advice to take appropriate steps.. . Fir can be lodged but police not doing because after lodging FIR they will have to investigate the matter.
