Joined the company with bond for 18 months giving security of 90000

Hi , i joined in a company back in jan-2017 and while joining that company they took cheque as a security with amount 90000 written on it , on the other hand i have applied for my masters in usa adn got admission and visa and came down to usa in aug-2017 and now the company has sent a warning mail as we will encash your cheque , will there any problem with this cheque bounce as it is my cheque and im out of country and how to escape this as there was a agreement with the company that i will work for 18 months please someone help me.

Since you have signed the contract with the company, you are bound to work for the company for the specified period of 18 months. In case you decide to breach the agreement then the company is entitled to encash the cheque which you have given them. And in case yo don’t have that much amount in your bank account then the same with be bounced and it will be trouble for you. So its better for you to continue your service without breaching the contract because you will sustain huge loss otherwise.
