Is it risky to give security for a persons bail

Please let me know if one give surity for an accused bail what happened if accused absent Suirty gave persons punishable or penalty please info me
if accused is absent there should be representation on that date if not nbw will be issued to the accused. if accused is absconding then notice will be issued to the surety to produce the accused failing which fine will b imposed to the extent of surety amount.

normally when the accused absconds, the money paid by the surety is forfeited.
The surety will not be punished(imprisoned) if the accused has absconded without the knowledge of the Surety.
However the monies paid by the surety will be forfeited.
