Is it possible to add a person in case after 1 year of case running

after 1 year is it possible to add a person to a case under ipc 420 case?
Yes. It is possible. You can file a petition to add the person who is necessary to be in the case. So ask your lawyer's help.but the court has to satisfied in this then only it will give order in your favour.

As per section 170 of criminal procedure code sealed with final report I.e.charge sheet by police against accused.if the police got any evidence whether oral or documentary to Induct a person after one year from Date of charge sheet, the police got such power under section 173 (8) of criminal procedure code. Then private party can assist police to conduct case against accused as per section 302 of criminal procedure code.
