IPC 380 CASE FILED AGAINST ME. How to proceed ?

I have a case under IPC 380 against me. Case is of laptop which I found at airport forgotten by Owner.I tried to find the owner on 2 planes but my flight was getting delayed I had to leave it with me. I did not use it or take any benefit of it. Next 3 months I was out of station in MP working in coal mine.Then after three months when I returned home after few days I got call from someone what happened on that day. I remembered that on that day I was and was on flight and found laptop.I went to the Police station and returned it. The police arrested me and put me in jail.I got JC after three days and then bail. Charge sheet filed in 2013 under IPC 380.I am out now on bail.Case is not heard status. My intention was not to steal, I did not use it.I tried to find the owner but could not as laptop was password protected.I returned material to Police station when asked. In the three months I was in a coal mine location in MP & UP inside forest.Please help me legal advice what to be done.
Sir/madam, considering the facts on record I feel this is very good case in hand finally criminal law requires men's rea (guilty mind/intention) ur case clears that there is no men's rea. So instead of facing entire trial u must file application for discharge which surely will give u the relief you are in need of.
