In abroad wants to connect to police what can i do

I am currently in USA. I have noticed that my signatures have been forged on documents in India. If I give police complaint a bit late because I am abroad, will it be ok? Is being abroad a valid cause for delay in lodging a complaint? Police is not taking email complaint though I did send it. What should i do ?
Yes you can lodge F I R when you come here....you are living abroad and its a valid ground for delay in law.....for the offence of forgery there is no limitation of lodging F I R....you can Lodge Even after 7/8 years .

Do one thing prepare your complaint and sens bu registered post to jurisdictions police station in India.
If after that process police cannot lodge then send representation with copy to SP jurisdiction.

hi in regard to thr same . as soon as u got the knowledge of forgery u should have fole a complain but being at abroad can be a geniune reason ;considering the facts of the case. u should better engage a lawyer . so that he can co ordinate and handle the issues .
