Impact of ipc 354a/34 on passport issuance

My cousin is under prosecution charge u/s 354A/34 IPC which was framed against him after hearing arguments in the court..Its an on going case for more than 2 years now..For the last one year he is working in an renowned event company but recently due to some personal issues some one is threatening that he will send all the documents to the Hr of his office and will also get his passport cancelled as his passport was issued last year in November while he is still under the trial..what will be the legal action that we can take to avoid any such incident..

If at the time of making the application for issuance of passport you had not mentioned the fact that proceedings are pending it may cause some problem however the fact is that you have not been convicted therefore innocence is presumed. You can't do anything to stop the person from informing the authorities legally.

secondly, passport cannot be cancelled even if the case is pending before the court.
