Husband mentioned my name in suicide note how to defend my case

12-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)

An FIR is been done against me as my ex-husband committed suicide after my second marriage without divorce. He has left a suicide note claiming he takes the responsibility of his death but mentions my name in the suicide note saying i have cheated him. Now his parents also have given the complaint against me. I feel helpless as everyone has left me in this hard and tough time, looking forward with a hope for your kindly advices.

Since the offence alleged against you in the fir is non bailable you may have to take an anticipatory bail from the court. Their after you may need to participate in the investigation. If you prove that you have not abated him to commit suicide, police may exonerate you from the charges and file a final report.

Hi,

Your second marriage invalid without legal approved divorce (there are few exceptions based on the life history). more information can be told only after discussion.

FIR and your ex-husband suicide note need to be seen. I have a question, when your ex-husband filled FIR against you then what is the need of his parents also given police complaint.
