How to prevent delay in court proceedings

My wife has filed 498a aganist me a year back.I got bail and police has submitted chargesheet within few days (approximately 11 months back) but till now I did not receive any summon from court. Few days back I have visited the court and it has been informed that no charge is framed yet and it is not visible in ecourt website.why that much delay is happening to get summon from court? How to check this? Shall I contact the judge directly?

You may ask your advocate to obtain certified copy of the records of the proceedings along with copy of the charge sheet. Immediately thereafter you may get the present status of your case and shall able to deal with the same without any further delay. Process of summons could be delayed due to some uncalled for cause. Please take advise your advocate who is acting on your behalf in the court he will give you all the its and buts of the court proceedings.

You should go to met with your Ld. Lawyer and he can give you what to do right now.
Though there is a provision of law that after Charge Sheet the Court shall informed to the Accused.
But in practical we do not see this. Because there is so many cases pending in each and every court. Therefore, don't loose you time and take the next date for supply Copy and Appearance in connection with your Case, otherwise, W/A will be issued against you due to non-appearance.
