How to end case proceedings on case of theft

My brother robbed a car and caught by police and later hand over it to the owner but sessions court held a period of 2 months in jail but later applied to high court got bail but the case is yet to be closed and it's already 2yrs. Sir, could you please help me?
As the orders have already been passed by the learned trial court and awarded you the punishment in a matter. you applied for appeal, till the matter is pending in the hon'ble appellate court you cannot do anything. it is advisable that you file a petition under section 482 Cr. PC for quashing of FIR. as the term of punishment is 2 months.
