How to deal with illegal extortion case filed against me ?

My mother along with 3 others of my family members including me have been mentioned in an extortion case illegally. How should i proceed?
First of all know why you have been included. Apply and take anticipatory bail. Then appear before the Police and tell them the true facts and request them to investigate in the said line also. If required take help through SP and court as well.

You have to clarify whether a F.I.R has been lodged or a complaint case has been filed against you see if fir has been loged against you then immediately file anticipatory bail applications before the district and sessions judge having jurisdiction there after walt till the police diary is compleated showing material in favour or against you
