How to deal with charges of public drinking

Hello I am 22 years old male and I was caught for public drinking. The police took me for medical and I was made to fill all the documents and they told me that it was just formality. Later they took my voter Id and I was told that I would get get a call from court where I have to pay fine. It's been a week and still i didn't get any call.I am afraid if they send a warrant to my place.
yes it is illegal to drink in a public place. was you driving or just drinking? Was you alone or with friends ? and one more thing when they caught you what was the figure of the alcohol please provide me these details and don't worry.

Sir/Madam, first of all you will get summons from the court and you need to appear before the court and do all the formalities. You may engage some advocate till then for your assistance in the court.
