If police treated as non cognizance offence ,then they will not prepare FIR. If they taken as cognizance then they will file a FIR and file a charge sheet to concerned jurisdiction court. Consult more and contest the matter and file it in the court.

First of all you have to obtain bail, if the offences are bailable in the police station or in the jurisdictional court if the offences are non bailable. After that he police will investigate the case and file final report or charge sheet against you both. Otherwise you have to manage police to file B report i , e false case.

If there is a case and counter case, both will be tried by the same Judge with different investigating officers and different assistant public prosecutors or public prosecuters.

Hi, You need to prove that you were at the spot to provide medical treatment to your friend. You can very well file criminal complaint along with medical records as your friend got beaten by wood stick. Need to discuss more on which kind of counter complaint they made.
