Firstly you don't have to pay any lawyer to close the matter. You are the complainant in the case and you yourself can make a submission in the court on the next date that you do not want to make any case or claim against the accused person on the next date of hearing.

Do not be panicky. You should make your statement this time before Hon'ble Court. First you go and meet Nayab Court - A police man sitting from the concerned police station in the Court room, he will mark your attendance and the Courts give preference to the witnesses like you and try not to give another date and complete your evidence in one go. However, in an y case if you wish to finish the case you need not to engage any lawyer. During the hearing of he case produce your ID Card and make a statement before Hon'ble Court in this regard rest Hon'ble Court will decide.

DEAR IF SOMEBODY HAS STOLEN YOUR MOBILE AND ON YOUR BEHALF COMPLAINT GOT REGISTERED AND CASE WAS MADE OUT AGAINT THE CULPRIT. NOW YOU HAVE TO GIVE A STATEMENT IN THE COURT THAT YES THIS IS MAN WHO HAS STOLEN MY MOBILE FROM METRO IF U WANT TO SEND HIM IN THE JAIL. OTHER OPTION IS SETTLE WITH THE PERSON BEST WAY IS MEET THE PP OF THE COURT-------------------------
