How much time does it take to get bail in an extortion case

22-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My husband was caught in an extortion case under section 384, 419, 507 & 66 b. But my husband is not the main culprit as he did not knew about all the plan made by someone he just accompanied him in his own car for collecting the payment. Our bail got rejected in the session court now applied for bail in HC and my husbands name is even showing on website under cause list so how soon will he get the bail now and does he have to wait for other persons who have been caught as the case is merged under one but all of them have different lawyers and applied differently for bail application in HC. Also the person who was demanded money has taken the case back. Please suggest

There is not fixed time mentioned any where in any law for the procedure of bail. Since matter has been listed in the HC and the same is also being reflected in the cause list. It will decided as per the discriction of judge.

you have to wait for the final outcome of the bail petition pending before high court.if there are more than one accused in the crime the high court normally decides all the bail petition of all accused in the crime simultaneously..the withdrawal of case by victim is a good relevant factor for grant of bail

Ho skta hai aapke husband ne aisa crime nhi kiya ho uski jagah kisi aur ne crime kiya ho.
Aap defense lijiye.
