Harassed by policemen can we take any action

Hello Sir/Ma'am, Today, I felt, I have been insulted by a Police Man. our car was parked in front of hotel as it was hotel parking. when we came near our car, one of police man came and asked us why we have parked not systematically and in really bad tone said "ye tumhara dahod nahi(thrice)"abhi 300 rupiye le lunga". not only this but earlier my cousin was asked to stop car as our car number was starting from GJ20 (dahod). these ppl always take money whenever they see a GJ20 car in Ahmedabad. I can understated security measures & ready to comply but racism is not we seek. what can i do in this
Same thing happened to everybody when you went tin another city by your car.
Police always harass you and asking for money, when you travel with your car to one state to another with all your documents, still police asking for bribe if you are not give them then they will harass you without any cause of action.
It's not fault of police but it is defect in our Indain Penal Code because it made for overwhelmed to oppose British Rule.
So, it's punishment for you to born in India.
