Harassed by a group of people what can I do

I had some issues with some of my batchmates in college. They started harassing me. I complained to the authorities but after that I started receiving threats from those people. So I had to take my complaint back. Now we are passed out. Now they created a whatsapp group, added me and posted abusive and threatening messages directed to me and one of my female friends. What can I do in such a situation?
You are advised to file a police complaint naming the persons harassing you. Give as much details about the persons like address, landmark for their residence, their phone numbers, if you etc. This is a criminal offence under Indian Penal Code. If the police does not initiate any action, you better approach higher ups. There is nothing wrong in it. If still they do not act or they reject your application, you are at liberty to file a PCR in the jurisdictional magistrate court.
