Girlfriend committing suicide because of parents, how to defend myself

I have girlfriend she told she will do sucide bcz she want to marrie but her parents not accepting me so if she sucide then I will be in problem or not
You could be a possible suspect.I would like to have more information on this matter since I feel a host of info you have shared is neither possible to understand nor does it make sense.
