Gfs ex partner giving me threats of filing adultery charges what to do

Hi there, I am a bit concerned about the threats that my girlfriend's ex partner has given to me over the phone and i'm seeking advise if what he's saying actually makes sense or not. My girlfriend was married to her ex partner in india 9 years ago and they both came to New Zealand 2.5 years ago along with their child. Both of them are currently hold Indian passports with Work Visas. I am living in the country since last 4 years and i am currently a New Zealand resident visa holder which allows me to stay here forever but i hold Indian passport at the moment. I will be getting New Zealand citizenship and passport in 4 years. So my girlfriend separated from her husband 6 months ago due to domestic violence and harassment and since then she has been staying with me as she's unable to take care of her child all alone as she has no family here. As her husband knows about this, he is threatening me that he will file an adultery case against me in India. I need to know if thats possible?
If she is legally wedded wife of that person meaning thereby..... no divorce has been taken place..... In such a condition u can be prosected for the offence of Adultery punishable u/s 497 read with section 4 of the I.P.C. in India...

Firstly ask your friend to file complaint against her ex-partner for harassment and other related issues. until and unless she is being awarded divorce by the court her ex-partner always have a right to file case for adultery but it can be defended diligently and we can prove your innocence as well. there are certain things to be done in defence so that you may have an option to defend your self in case her ex-partner files case against you.

Dear don't take tension as filing and proveing the same are two different aspects. It's not that much easy. But her ex-partner can file the adultary against you in India under section 497 IPC. I need to know some imp and other related points to completely safeguard you. And you don't even have to visit for the same to india.he can't do anything against you but for that I need to know some other and imp points in regard.
