Gave money to a person who died his brother filed case against us

My friend needed money and he asked to me. I gave him money after sometime he had big loss in his business. He had debts from many people. Recently he died because of heart attack. His brother put a case that many people pressurized him, that's why he died. He putted some name in that case. And one of my friend name is there in that list. That friend didn't put any pressure on him. He is very afraid. It will be very helpful if you give some suggestions. Thank you.
If such person recieves summon from court then it can be thought off. Every person helped the deceased and in return if all has asked back their due returns its not a crime, ask your friend to hire a good lawyer if he needs at all.

The investigation can be started on the suspicious cause of death if FIR is lodged. Is any complaint made against your friend prior from death of deseased person and is any evidence available about any mental or physical torture made by your friend if not then nothing will be proved by brother of deseased person and there is no cause of afraid of your friend till whether your friend has been chargesheeted I think police will not arrest you but only interrogate

If the deceased brother filed FIR against the name of your friends as an accused in that event he has to appear before the police when the inquiry starts and at the time of submission he has to prove his innocence in the matter.
