Friend's husband committed suicide, police harassing the witness

25-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Actually I am having a friend and she was divorced.she married to an unmarried boy who was an ordinary reporter also. 6 months back they got married in a temple. My friend told me to come so I was there just to support her. Only I was there n two more persons and a photographer was there. They always fought with each other. The Boy always tortured her about her past.and recently the boy committed suicide leaving a note against my friend. He told that he was dying because of her torture. His parents blamed the girl that she had murdered him. The girl is out of area. I was always talked to my friend till this incident happened on phone unknowingly. The police enquired me also and I am very much scared due to all these things. I am working in sbi.so I need legal support so that no one can harress me. Because after marriage what exactly happened I don't know. But the police may harress me. So I really need support. They were adult and both of them aged around 35.

DEAR FRIEND
NOT TO WORRY AND I DON'T THINK YOU ARE NOT IN TROUBLE.
IF ANY ACCIDENT HAPPENS WITH YOUR FRIEND OR ANY LEGAL PROCEDURE STARTS THEN IN THAT CASE YOU CAN BE ONLY WITNESS NOTHING ELSE AND IF YOU HARRESS BY THE POLICE THEN THERE ARE SOME LEGAL PROCEDURE YOU MAY TAKE.

See law takes its own course and it is the duty of the citizens to assist the enquiry officer in coming to the logical conclusion however the police cannot harras you if you are only a friend just help the io
