23-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I used a sim card belongs to other person ID. i used to use it for cheaper call rates and throw it after my used. unluckily it was found by my enemy and he sent a life threatening msg on his mobile phone and lodged a FIR against me. Police checked the caller list and confirmed that i used to use this sim based on my calls.. SIM is not registered on my name. What to do now?

As such there happens a case against who is actual owner / registered owner of this SIM and then comes turn who was using and after investigation if it is found that it was somebody else who gave threat or misused then you will be free from charges but in case you want to quash your FIR means FIR lodged against you , then you need to contact a lawyer . Dont worry remedy is there . But one should be careful about SIM.

Hello friend
First you see the FIR in which section FIR lodged against you and there after you give a representation to the SHO.
And that after you moved a bail application under section 438 cr.p.c.
