FIR filed against employee for misuse of company money,no action taken

My employee has misused companys money and there is also shortage in the fuel. He has also confessed that he had misused it and that he will repay it within one week. Upon failing to repay, the first information report has been filed in the police station but the police personnel didnt take any action againt the employee.. what are the remedies available and can the police personnel is allowed to do this?
Since the FIR is registered you cannot approach the court by filing a private complaint. You have to persuade the police for investigation into the case and for filing the chargesheet or else amicably settle the issue with the employee asking him to pay the damages as he has already confessed with regard to the issue in question.

File PCR at Magistrate Court by explaining about the act of concerned police and pray before the court to dirct concerned police station to take action against the wrong doer. Meantime you should have sufficient proofs to prove your case.

If the Police hasn't reacted yet, file a Complaint before Magistrate, seeking Police to forthwith conduct investigation under Sec 156(3) of CrPC. Upon such Complaint , the Police will be forced to submit a report before the Magistrate, hence it is suggested you file a complaint before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.
