Extra votes put in than number of people what action to take?

There were pradhan election in our village, 1224 votes put in but in counting the votes came out to be 1236 and by the difference of 6 votes the opposite party won. What action can we take in this situation?
Dear all
The election petition may be filed before the SDM concerned regarding the said discrepancy ASAP.
The Grounds of said discrepancy can be substantiated with other reasons such as fraudulent activities of counting and other grounds specified may also be considered before the SDM.
The case has to be filed by the advocate em-paneled within the jurisdiction concerned.
