Emotional distress by maternal uncle can I take any legal action

My maternal uncle have had several times insulted and humiliated me reasoning my late father and on my husband my financial instability just bcoz he may feels his sister, my mother, is unhappy suffering distress. All this is causing me extreme emotional pain and disturb. Pls guide me what should I do. U feel suffocating within inside. Can't forget all that. M a respectable woman. Independent.
