College student threatening for physical violence what action possible

Sir A student from my college is constantly threatening me of physical violence i hve recorded his voice. Is there anything i can do lodging a precautionary police complaint if so plz ans me under which section and if there is a physical violence under which sec. of crpc i can fill fir
U take precautions against him ,so first u file writen complaints against him before college authority under anti raging Act if not get satisfactory response then approach to ur Legal consultant for legal proceedings against him u/s 107,116 of relivent act
