Section 186 in The Indian Penal Code will be applicable.
Section 186 is reproduced hereunder
186. Obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions.—Whoever voluntarily obstructs any public servant in the discharge of his public functions, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.

offences under section 162 to 165 arises apprehension will take place and punishable with a period of three years punishment but the mandatory guidelines in lodging of complaint to be followed and there must be burden on prosecution to prove teh obstruction in discharging the public duty
