Can we produce evidence after stage of evidence is over

If complainant did not mention of evidence which he has in statement at time of chief examination in court,so can it make prosecuter case weak? Can it produced after stage of evidence?
Yes the prosecution story will fail n it will be weaken by this and next is will the witness fill up the gap by deposing again is not possible because in criminal prosecution the defence side have limited defences n weakens of any evidence will be taken by defence side with both hands n will not allow the prosecution to rectify any thing . what stopped witness from showing evidence at cross is the blunder of prosecution n cannot be rectified now .

Yes u can give an application why u have not produced on that time and if courts gives permission to u than u can produce ur evidence in the court with all original documents. Request court to give them time to produce the evidence.
