Can we file anticipatorybail in different city FIR filed in other city

False FIR has been filed against us, in different city and we filed for anticipatory bail but not granted yet now we are at our home town can we file for anticipatory bail here charged u/s 409 , 420
Generally the police station where the FIR is registered, filing of anticipatory bail application will be within that courts jurisdiction. In your case you have filed the anticipatory bail application in another city, chances are that you will not get it.
advice to you is withdraw it there and file it here immediately

The charges offenses are bailable offense. There are grounds on which anticipatory bail can not be granted. For ex., Drafting issue, surety issue ... etc.,
You can file anticipatory bail where the FIR has jurisdiction. The FIR is filled in other location where the complainant has jurisdiction.
If you do not get anticipatory bail in JMC then you may need to approach session court OR Higher court.
