Can we file a complain against a lawyer who cheated us

Bunny I got married to my boyfriend from arya samaj,an advocate had arranged everything,he took 22,000 Rs from us for which he promised to give all certificates and photographs for the wedding. But now its been a year since we got married that advocate is reluctant to give the photographs and the marriage certificate. Can I make a police complaint against him?
there is no need to police complaint.
got to arya samaj office and ask a copy for marriage certificate.
if advocate not providing copy of your photograph and other document. just tell them you will complaint against him to appropriate authority.

according to aarya samaj act 1955 there is provision after completion all precoss with regard to documents and marriage ceremony the aarya have hand over the certificate to you ,, first you confirm about whether marriage was done or not...

First of all get reason with your lawyer that why he or she is not given your documents and you also confirm that there is no fees is due from your side. After confirmation of above then go for legal proceeding otherwise not. Because against lawyer no FIR can be filed under section 420.

As per ur statement ur marriages was arrange by adv in Arya Samaj ,the fee of Arya Samaj and other expense of marriage plus adv fee decide by both side and fee paid to adv then adv is duty to give ur documents, if not return ur documents then u can file complaints before appropriate authority, rest on VI's a vise
