Since Sections 237, 279 and 506 are non compoundable offences, therefore, the FIR can only be quashed by the concerned High Court in the basis of Compromise. Trial Court has no power to quash the same under Section 320 Cr.P.C.

Not all the sections mentioned by you relate to compoundable offences. You are definitely free to enter into a compromise however the FIR may not be simply cancelled. The parties can approach the High Court for quashing of the FIR on the basis of the compromise.
