Can police arrest us before anticipatory bail is granted

sir, A CMP is filed against us.u/s 420.406&34. Some influential people is trying to grab the properties owned by late father in Mumbai. Police has filed FIR and we filed anticipatory bail application before session Court. Can police arrest us before deciding AB? Police is forcing us to settle the matter before them. We told them we are not interested to settle the matter and decided to approach HC to quash the false case. please guide us as the other side is bribing the police to arrest us and get our sign on various documents prepared by them. please help us t
Normally when anticipatory bail application is pending the police will not arrest the accused. But mind that there is no provision in law to support this . So please take care until the petition is disposed of by the concerned court. Regarding the merit of the matter and whether petition for quashing is allowabale or not can be replied after perusing the documents.
