Can opponent party who filed a case be accused in the same case

21-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A family has framed me in a false case and the case is govt vs me, can i get them punished for what they did by proving so in the same case or do i need to file another case for it ? I mean i can prove that i am innocent and that they are guilty but since the case is against me and they are the one accusing me and i am the one accused, can i get them punished for what they did in the same case ? Can in the same case i get them acquitted and prove my innocence as well?

As explained, you must been accused of the offences under Indian Penal Code. You can prove your innocence in the same case by providing sufficient evidences and witnesses. Also that you are very confident that you have been trapped in a false case. After proving your innocence, you can file a separate case for defamation and can claim damages and compensation.
Thanks

Dear Querist,
you have to fight the case and prove your self innocent and there after you may file a suit for claiming the damages for filing the false case against you. If you have any evidence to prove that the complainants are guilty you may submit that in your evidence and the court has power to take action against them. there is a procedure for doing so.

Yes you can file a complaint against the culprits if hey have imitated a false action against you.

I need to examine your documents like FIR, Chargesheet etc.

Feel free to contact.
You should initiate action asap against them.
