Can I file a criminal case for alienation just after marriage

This guy got married to me in nov 2014 and escaped to US as he was working there. He never came back for one whole year, then we caught him when he was here for some official work, he then again promised to take me there in 2 months time and then again no communication after that. He is from tamilnadu and am from bangalore, I have filed divorce case and a DV case on them, can i file a criminal case on that guy stating he did fraud by marrying me and escaping. Please help am totally blank.
