Can friends black mail me if FIR is filed against them

Doctor by profession,7years back I lived in hostel along with my colleagues,due to some misconceptions,my colleagues hit 1 shopkeeper and get involved into 452 ipc.My name is not involved in FIR nor into 452 ipc.Is there any chance that my colleagues involve or blackmail me for any reason???
If your name is not in FIR then it means you were not named as accused by the Police. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about your friends. Don't be afraid of blackmailing by your colleagues.
For adding you as an accused in the case now, prosecution will have to make amendments in their story of the incident and that should be trustworthy enough supported by witnesses, which is obviously almost impossible now.
