can a girl file a 376 on my husband on false charges?

a girl is threatening my husband to marry her or else she will file a report of Rape and other charges on him. she even claims that she has aborted a child 1 and half year back. these are all false claims by the lady. she is harassing us. please give us a remedy, how can we tackle this situation?
You can not prevent anyone from filing a complaint to the police. It is for the police to conduct a preliminary enquiry in order to decide whether the complaint is true or false.
If you feel theatened by her threat and pressure then you can also file a place complaint against the girl for threatening you and your husband to implicate him in a false case.

In the situation mentioned by you, You must approach police and give information that this girl has been continuously threatening your husband, however at the same time, you need to be sure that your husband didn't have physical relations with this girl, and if there has been an abortion done, she may have some evidence against your husband, so be careful, as under such situation approaching police may invite trouble for you.
