Hi I am accused for nothing wrong under 498A & 304B and I am fighting it legally. I need your assistance to make me understand on the below issue. Now that I have a job opportunity in a MNC company, background verification is mandatory for anyone joining them. My question is, will that effect me joining software companies because am accused on above charges for doing nothing. Please suggest!!

It does not affect your job as you are only accused and the offence is not yet proved, hence you are innocent till it is proved, so in this matter proceed with the matter diligently and get yourself acquitted.

Your statement that you have done nothing wrong has to be established to the satisfaction of the court. This is possible only after trial. You need to wait till the end of the trial and make use of your opportunities of cross examination of complainant, prosecution evidence and your own evidence to disprove the charges. As you say, verification of antecedent is mandatory for candidates aspiring to join MNCs. However, it depends upon the policy of the company to appoint an accused subject to his coming out innocent. An accused is innocent until his guilt is proved. You need to study the policy of the company and then proceed.
