Call from police to come after got mobile by FIR for unknown person

Mobile stolen by unknown at pune stion .got mobile from court by FIR theif caught now police calling to court for witness . is it needed ?as i already got it from court now nt possible to go again as in other city please help. I hvnt seen the theif
you will have to go if you have been summoned by the court to give your witness you can give your statement in the court that you did not see the thief and you do not know that the person is the same or not. you can also tell that it is difficult for you to travel and your statement may be recorded.
