First of all, it is extremely difficult even for an IO to contain a complainant from acting like she did, so therefore, your remedy would lie against the complainant and not the IO.

You must at the earliest initate defamation proceedings, both civil and criminal against the woman as she has taken advantage of an already sub-judice complaint.

There is a separate procedure defined for defamation proceedings in CrPC. Also file an FIR against the husband for cheating by hiding his marital status.

I have done matters pertaining to defamation both on civil and criminal side. Please note that simultaneous proceedings may continue against the wife. You may contact me if you wish to pursue this further.

You will have to take legal remedy immediately and file a suit for injunction against the following

Wife husband and the police

Then claim damages

Also prosecute them in court under your already filed police complaint

Io will not be responsible as it his duty but you can also file a criminal complaint against her husband u.s 509 and other sections of Indian penal code.u can also filed defamation against them also.otherwise you don't have to worry as till date as per your query I think no action will be taken by police
